We recognize that although we live in a digital era, and conduct much of our business online, that the need for an experienced professional hasn't succumbed in the Internet age. Contrary to the purchase of goods and services, consumers of travel are amongst those most in need of personalized customer service because, unlike other tangible things that can be bought, returned, refunded or exchanged--travel is an experience. Its either good, or bad, and much of that perception is gleaned from a how well informed and prepared each client is before their departure. Hence, our emphasis on full disclosure of the little things that really do matter, and can add up quickly for the ill-prepared, or uninformed traveler.
So while many agents succumb to the pressure of joining large consortia, our owner, Jennifer Johnston, maintains her ground that Guilt Trips Travel will always cater to consumers and their desired method of consultation, purchase and delivery of travel goods and services. Clients may conduct their entire shopping, quoting and booking experience through online means, or you may meet with us (literally or virtually) for a one-on-one consultation. We will communicate or meet with you by phone, email, or in person by appointment, and for clients who live outside the Phoenix Metropolitan area (even soldiers serving abroad), we are happy to set up a Skype conference that allows you to receive the same high quality services as those in our hometown.
Jennifer completed the Travel Academy at Phoenix college and has spent the past 13 years in the travel industry working hard to achieve and maintain her designations as a Master Cruise Counselor with CLIA (Cruise Lines International Association) and Certified Travel Associate with The Travel Institute. She has advanced education designations from The Disney Travel Company, and each of the major cruise lines, and is most renowned for her passion to infect and educate first time cruisers with the cruising "bug"..
